Gerry Fialka In Wellington
Howdy! Lorenzo's old buddy Gerry Fialka will be in Wellington to do some film workshops at BlowFest.
Years ago he founded the club that supports film makers who use PXL cameras... and using them to create mischief of all sorts.
He's asked us to spread the word. I have yet to meet him but i'm going to try to stop by at least one of the workshops.

American media ecologist Gerry Fialka presents an interactive workshop and screening of films by subversive artists and pranksters who inflict brand damage to expose corporate manipulation of America’s mediascape. Fialka probes Marshall McLuhan’s Laws of Media in correlation with revolutionary artists (including Craig Baldwin, Barbie Liberation Organization, Billboard Liberation Front and Bob Dobbs) providing new critical perspectives with surprise, humour and the thrill of transgression.
