Opening next week at Christchurch’s the High Street Project is "Inter mingle", the first solo exhibition by Kirstein Mckendry. The artist, who majored in sculpture at Canterbury School of Fine Arts, is interested in what she calls "bodily landscape", the suggestion of what lies between the physical and the ethereal or invisible. The exhibition, which involves drawing, photography and sculpture, runs from May 24 until June 10. There will be a preview on Tuesday, May 23 at 5:30pm.
